Template editing gains status indicators and a Discard action, upgrade dialogs replace blocked buttons, and workspace features now require an active subscription.

Features

  • Discard changes on template edits — We added a Discard button to the Composite, IE, and DE template editors so you can revert a working draft back to the published version in one step. A confirmation dialog protects you from accidental discards, and the button only appears when the template has unpublished changes.
  • Modified and Published status indicators — Templates now display a "Modified" or "Published" indicator on the template card (for owners) and on the edit and info pages for all template types. At a glance, you can see which templates have unpublished changes before you open them.
  • Upgrade dialogs replace blocked actions — When an action requires workspace permissions you don't yet have, we now show a helpful upgrade dialog explaining what the feature does and how to unlock it — rather than silently disabling or hiding the button. This covers creating events, templates, folders, images, and teams, plus starting and scheduling events from template cards.
  • Consistent user menu and breadcrumbs — The user profile dropdown now shows the same options (Profile & Settings, Contact Support, Enterprise Admin, and more) everywhere in the app, whether you're on a modern page or a legacy one. Profile sub-pages also gained three-level breadcrumbs like Horizon Engage > Profile & Settings > Achievements, so it's easy to find your way back.

Improvements

  • Template copies are ready to use immediately — When you duplicate a template, the first version is now auto-published, so the copy can be used right away without a separate publish step. Shallow clone is also available to all users with an active subscription.
  • Cleaner upgrade prompts — We streamlined the upgrade dialog by removing the icon and clarifying the headline so the call to action reads more naturally.

Fixes

  • Empty state button no longer duplicates text — On the events page, the create button would accumulate text ("Add new events events events") after navigating away and back. The button now reliably reads "Create event."
  • Upgrade dialog no longer gets stuck in loading — Opening and closing the upgrade dialog from an empty state no longer leaves the page spinning.
  • Viewing activity templates in copied composites — After copying a public composite template owned by someone else, clicking "View Template" on one of its activities would error out while loading version history. Navigation and the template info page now load correctly.

Breaking Changes

  • Workspace features now require an active subscription — Accounts without an active subscription can no longer access projects, frameworks, PIP, Virtual Workshop, templates, or forums. If you see access restrictions you didn't see before, review your subscription in workspace settings or contact your account owner. Enterprise accounts continue to be managed through sales rather than self-service billing.
