SVG backgrounds on boards, Add Item places at viewport center, events app redirects to workspaces, and EU email delivery.
Features
- SVG board backgrounds — You can now upload SVG images as board backgrounds and item types. SVGs stay crisp at any zoom level, and uploads are validated and sanitized so only safe files are accepted. Boards with SVG backgrounds export to PNG cleanly alongside existing JPG and PNG support.
Improvements
- Add Item places items where you're looking — The Add Item toolbar button now drops new items at the center of your current viewport, accounting for pan, zoom, and any open side panels. If you've panned off the canvas, the item lands at the nearest edge instead of disappearing. Double-clicking on the canvas still places items exactly where you click.
- Email delivery moved to eu-central-1 — We moved production email sending to the Frankfurt (eu-central-1) region, keeping email delivery closer to where our customers' data lives.
Breaking Changes
- The standalone Events app has been retired — Events functionality now lives inside Workspaces. Visiting
/events/automatically redirects to/workspaces/, and existing bookmarks will continue to work via the redirect. If you've linked directly to the Events app from internal tools, update those links to point at Workspaces. - Interface language is now English only — We've temporarily set the interface to English across all environments while we rework localization. Non-English translations will return in a future release.
